To sign up, download our mobile application from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Open the app, select "Create Account", enter your email address, and establish a password. You will receive a verification link to confirm your account.
By default, your trade data is stored securely on your local device to ensure privacy. If you choose to sync your account to the cloud, your portfolio data is encrypted before transmission, ensuring that only you can view your stock values on multiple devices.
When adding a transaction, select the transaction type as "Bonus Share" or "Right Share". Enter the number of shares you received. For bonus shares, set the buy price to Rs. 0 or Rs. 100 (depending on your cost-basis preference). For right shares, set the purchase price to Rs. 100.
Yes, Sampati automatically applies individual capital gains tax rates based on holding duration in Nepal. It applies 5% tax if you have held the stock for more than 365 days (Long-Term), and 7.5% if held for less than 365 days (Short-Term).
Open the Watchlist tab, tap the search icon, and type the company symbol (e.g. NICA). Tap the star or "+" icon next to the stock name to add it to your watchlist. To remove a stock, tap the star icon again or swipe left on the symbol name in your watchlist page.
First, check if notifications are allowed for the Sampati app under your device's system settings. Second, ensure that your device has background data usage enabled and is not on strict "Battery Saver" mode, which can delay push message delivery.

During market hours, price feeds are pulled from rapid market data vendors, which usually matches live NEPSE boards. MeroShare displays yesterday's closing price (LTP) for portfolio calculations until the market closes. If you notice a lag, pull down to refresh the screen.
Go to App Settings > Data Management. Tap "Export Portfolio", select CSV format, and choose your saving destination (Google Drive, Email, or Local files). You can open this file in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
